  • 1.  DNS load balancing connections FROM Assure client to Assure application

    Any one experience any issues trying to connect from assure client using DNS load balancing. In infogix client properties we need to enter the port number which is different than the destination port in Assure application, however dns convert to ip address and port configured in assure application.

     

    ex.

    HOST_NAME=dns.company.net

    HTTP_PORT_NUMBER=443

    HTTPS_PORT_NUMBER=443

    HTTP_SCHEME=https

    our load balancers are doing this. they connect to 443 and pass thru it to 8443 after load balancer going to our app servers.
