We are using some programs from your company (i.e. Visual CDR). We are merging towards Windows 7 lately. But we have seen a problem on several PC's (laptops) which I can not figure out. After installing the software the Login screen seems to be scrambled. Look at the attachment I posted. When logging in, which is a problem also because of the login screen, the program interface is also like the login screen. It only happens on some Laptops not on all. On all desktops it all works fine.

Have anyone seen this problem? Can we do something to solve it (registry key, ini file). It is a big problem preventing us from migrating.

    Please help,

    Regards,

    Ton

I would set the size to "only" 100% and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check this and let you know if that solves it.

One remark in advance though. This is a user based setting (100%, 125% or ..) depending on their own preferences (I use 125%), we can not push the users to use 100% if they need to use Visual CDR, nor can we push this setting if we install your application (i.e. SCCM) for the user. Even if we can they will set it back after installation to their own setting (125%) and we are back to my problem. Is there another way?

But I will still let you know what the results are.

Just changed the settings to 100% and the logon screen is ok again!? But as mentioned in my previous post above this is not an option for us. We are unable to force the users to change the default font size to this option. Nor can we push this when we install your software automatically.
Can you please help us with a different solution.

Can anyone help us a bit further with this problem. I found some more information on Internet and it seems to be a DPI on Windows 7. Hope to hear from you at Lavastorm?!

    Update 5/8/2012
On a Hyper-V test system changing the DPI solves the blurry logon screen. But on new Dell E6520 systems changing the DPI does not solve the screen problem. The logon screen is always as the attachment in the first post! Hope this helps.
