I have found that if you are using a field for the MessageBody, then you also need to use a field for the ToAddress.
Once you do this, you should see the value in your msgbody being used rather than just the text "msgbody".

The SendEmail+ node was updated in LAL 6.0.40.0 / LAL 6.1.40.0 to allow you to mix & match Literal and Field sources for the ToAddress and MessageBody parameters.
