    Was the question that stupid or really nobody knows?
    Anyway, in the meantime, I found out that BRE probably can't run on Linux natively (though LAE Server can).
    Strange, maybe, I thought Lavastorm had it's roots in Unix?

    BRE currently runs only in Windows. Stay tuned for LAE v7 - it is browser based and should be much more platform independent.
