Could you attach the graph, or paste the query and loader nodes to the forum? Even without access to the underlying database tables, it will be useful to see how the nodes' parameters are set when trying to reproduce this problem. Thanks.

The log messages above are telling you how each of the fields don't map to the table; apparently none of the fields map.

I will log a bug in that the error message is too vague; it should report that there are no fields mapped from the input onto any database columns, so nothing to load.

i missed the comment that you first dropped the data from the same table that you are loading. This to me implies that something is being done in converting the names or types on either the extraction or loading of the data. As requested above, can you provide the graph or the DB Query and DB Load nodes...and more importtantly, can you provide the schema (or SQL to create) the table you are dealing with?

Hi Rich and thanks for your comments. It is indeed a case of no columns matching. I agree that the error message should be more specific.

I did manage to fix this yeterday. I installed d an older version of the ODBC connector for MySQL. However, i think in the end the problem was actually because I did not have the database specified in the ODBC connector parameters. It seems a select query via lavastorm works perfectly well if the database is not specified, as it must work out the database via the data source field, which I had specified. Whereas an update does not, it returns the error I posted.
