The configuration of the node and some additional log information will be required to determine the cause of the error.

In terms of the configuration information:- the node parameter settings will be needed together with details of the type of SMTP server you are trying to connect to.

For Additional debug information:- You can go to the node's Logistics tab and set the LogLevel parameter to '0' which will increase the logging detail. If you then hover the mouse over the failed node and use Ctrl-Right-Click the log information will be displayed in a separate window and you can view and cut+paste the error log information.
