    By the way, the sum of file sizes are ok. (I have checked the temp .brd file sizes and the sum of 4 input files is nearly equal to the cat output file's size.)

    Feridun, this has been identified as issue #4929. This will be addressed at some point in the future, but you should know the actual data should all be there and processed correctly. It is purely a rendering issue with the record count being displayed, as it is currently being stored back at the client as a 32 signed int.
