    You didn't mention the specific node you are using, and unfortunately, I don't recognize it from what you mentioned. This may be a specific custom node, and therefore, we would have to look at the implementation to understand how it behaves.

    Is there a graph or a node you can post? If you run the node, you can then select the node you have questions about, and then choose "Report a Problem with a Node" under the help menu in BRE. This will start a wizard that will gather all the needed information to a single directory. You can then zip that directory up and post here, if you would like more help.
