    I am running Lavastorm desktop version 4.5.2. I usually have 4 threads running to acquire data from our DWH. However, today only two threads are running and I am getting the error message "one or more threads failed to connect" on the other two threads. Is this a Lavastorm problem, a desktop problem or a problem at our DWH? I'd like to rule out the first one before contacting our out of hours IT support.

    In the task bar should be an icon for "Lavastorm Console". Click that icon, and then click the Restart on the window that opens.
    Then in BRE, click the "Connect" icon again.

    I couldn't find the console icon but I clicked connect and reconnected and it solved the problem.
