We have a business process that scans contracts and application forms for storage into our Siebel CRM. The files are stored as .TIFF.

Is there anyway of reading these files using Lavastorm Desktop and extracting certain data stored on the file?

    Thanks,
    Christina

LD (Lavastorm Desktop) does not have the ability to 'read' and parse an image file such as .TIF. However, there are very specialized 3rd party technologies and outside services that use OCR and related technologies to 'read' text/text-based image files and convert them to data (with reasonable but often imperfect accuracy). If this was done, the resulting data files could then be used as a data source for LD.
