    This is what I want as an output (essentially a pivot table) [not too concerned about number formatting]

    Green 76.00 34.00 28.00 138.00
    Orange 56.00 123.00 37.00 12.00 228.00
    Yellow 95.00 95.00
    Grand Total 225.00 341.00 71.00 57.00 694.00

    I believe I should be using the node "Pivot - data to Names" but not sure what the syntax should be, hope this info is enough for someone to assist

    The latest LAL release, 2.6.1, includes a new Pivot Table node that will do exactly what you're after. If you pump your data in to a Pivot Table node with the 'Group for row' as Product, 'Group for column' as Region and the aggregation type set to 'Sum' then it will produce the output table pretty much exactly as you've posted here.     Not sure how to get this release (LAL 2.6.1)...all I know is that I have Lavastorm version 4.5.3
    I will google a solution.


    Hopefully until I get this node I can work out another way of creating a pivot table solution

    To use the node pivot table on this release I think you should have Lavastorm 4.6. So it could be better if you download and install 4.6 version. If it is not possible at the moment, here I attach a graph that may work for you. data_to_names_ex.brg

    But it is not a perfect solution, as you need to run twice by changing a parameter.

    - On first run you need the select "Union" on "NameSet", in the "Pivot data to names" node "Optional" tab.
    - When it comes with an error just switch the selection to "Exact" and hope you get what you want.

    I don't know why this error occurs, and I did not need to ask why? as I don't use this node much. I am sorry about that.
