It all happened after I unchecked the option "Show palette on bottom". There was no problem initially, but all of sudden this type
of scenario happened where Palette window overrides the Graph Canvas.

I was able to recreate the issue you are seeing. The problem seems that you have somehow re-sized your palette window.


To get back to your normal view do the following.

1) Select and edit the "display mode" with the square
2) Un-Check the box "Show Palette on Bottom"
3) Close the Edit Display window
4) Grab the rightmost edge of the window with your mouse and drag to the left. This should allow you to re-size the palette window
5) Open the Edit Display again
6) Re-Check the "Shot Palette on Bottom" button
7) Close Edit Display window

This should have you back to where you started.

Finally fixed it

Initially the option for dragging was not visible. My screen resolution was 1366x768.
But on closing the LAE and reopening I got the option.
