    Today is world statistics day. So for fun, Nishant Sinha, our technical product manager for Non-US geocoding analyzed the most frequently occurring thoroughfare types that appear across our global geocoding data. Naturally, we were looking at the Latinized script and English Language variants of those addresses.

    Perhaps not surprisingly, the most common global "Street Type", as it's known in the US, is in fact STREET.
