    Hi,

     

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    It was a "kind of" success, but pointed me in the right direction.

     

    It was an old TAB file that I was translating. So I saved a copy as an extended TAB file (2019 format??) then converted it successfully.

    Hi Graham
    Glad you had a result.
    The Extended tab came in with 64-bit MapInfo​ - because you can with 64-bit.
    Obviously, 32-bit versions cannot open it.
    It allows tabs greater than 2GB and better performance. I have an 8GB file now but you can go bigger.
