MailStream Plus Postal Preparation

An Updated MailStream Plus 8.4.5 and 8.4.6 December Postal References files has been placed on the Precisely Data Experience on December 31^st.  The Postal References files was updated in reference to the December 23, 2023, and December 28, 2023, Industry Alerts by the USPS:

USPS Industry Alert 12-23-2023

• "The December Mail Direction File with an effective date of January 1, 2024, was republished on December 23, 2023. The republication of the files will allow Mailers to claim the NDC discounts for ZIP codes 832 and 834."

• "The December Labeling List 605 with the effective date of January 1, 2024, was republished on December 23, 2023. The Labeling List will include ZIP codes 832 and 834 and will be available on the FAST website on December 23, 2023."

USPS Industry Alert 12-28-2023

• "Moving current Mail Processing operations at Mid-Carolina P&DC to the new Charlotte RPDC."
• "December 2023 Mail Direction File with the effective date of January 1, 2024, has been updated."
• Grace period for currently scheduled Drop Shipment appointments will be through January 12, 2024.  During the interim period, USPS will transport mail from Mid Carolina P&DC to the Charlotte RPDC."
• "December 2023 Mail Direction File with the effective date of January 1, 2024, has been updated."
