Hi Automate Community!
This week I have a quick tip for administrators that want to control which Studio modules users have access to. Automate Studio currently has 5 modules with additional modules in the roadmap:
As an admin you might need to remove access to specific Studio modules for various reasons. Here is where you can choose which Studio modules are enabled/disabled based on the product you're using.
Studio with Studio Administrator (desktop only):
From the Studio Administrator site, choose "Settings" in the menu on the left and select the "Preferences" tab on top. Please note this is a global setting so all users are affected by this change.
Studio with Studio Manager or Evolve:
From the Administration app in Studio Manager or Evolve, go to "Apps" in the left menu, find the app you want to make changes to, under the "Actions" column select "Configurations". You will now see the configuration options for that app. Select the "Preferences" tab on top and choose "Client Capabilities". Please note this is a local setting so it affects all users in that app.
If you're an admin for the app, but not a global admin, you have ability to control module access from within the app as well. In the app go to "Configuration" in the menu on the left, select the "Preferences" tab on the top and choose "Client Capabilities". Again this is a local setting so it affects all users in that app.
