Mainframe to Precisely Certificate Change for FTP Servers
Introduction
Customers connecting from their mainframe to Precisely's FTP servers should note that the server certificate has changed. You may need to obtain the new certificate to continue secure FTP access via authorizations through RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
What Changed?
When Precisely's certificate expired, we updated it from GoDaddy to Starfield Root Certificate Authority issued certificates. In order to change your configuration, you will need to update your security system to accept the new certificate by following the instructions in the article here: https://customer.precisely.com/s/article/Mainframe-z-OS-Secure-FTP?language=en_US
Although this article was written specifically for our files.syncsort.com FTP Server, the same instructions will apply to those who access our holddata.precisely.engineering FTP Server.
