Syncsort MFX License Failures for Unsupported Versions
Technical Alert
Customers should no longer be using unsupported versions of Syncsort MFX as this can cause serious problems in their production environments.
The only version that is supported at this time is Syncsort MFX release 3.1.
All previous versions are unsupported.
The most severe risk may be that the unsupported versions of MFX can only recognize license key expiration dates up to May 31, 2023. Customers using unsupported versions will NOT be able to apply a license key that has an expiration date that goes beyond May 31, 2023. This will result in permanent failures in your MFX jobs. Users MUST upgrade to MFX release 3.1
To avoid this issue, install Release 3.1 and move it into production as soon as possible.
