Spatial Analyst and Spatial Insights for Spectrum Version 25.1 Now Available!
We are excited to announce the general availability Spatial Analyst 2025.1 and Spatial Insights 1.5. Spatial Insights is an optional extension for Spatial Analyst, supporting retail site selection activities.
What's new:
Spectrum Spatial and Routing
The following functions have been added in MapInfo SQL to enhance spatial query capabilities.
- MI_Bearing: Calculates the initial bearing between two point geometries. For more information, see MI_Bearing.
- MI_ClosestPoint: Finds the closest point geometry of the destination geometry to the input geometry. For more information, see MI_ClosestPoint.
Spectrum Spatial Analyst
- Angular framework upgraded to Angular 17
- New 'high-quality' option is now available in the print preview
- Map information panel on the left now includes an option to sort records by a specific field
- "Highlight" option has been added to the map information panel on the left
- Highlight style default updated to be 70% translucent
- Multi-select feature limit increased and optimized
Spectrum Spatial Insights
- Angular framework upgraded to Angular 17
- Model Metrics Report provides context on sales estimate calculations
- Ability to freeze columns in analogue table for easier navigation
- Transient demand improves traffic calculations and results
- Conditional inputs streamline usability when entering an action
- Enhanced Scenario search capability
- Re-order and persist custom layers
- Ability to summarize data broken down by centroid within or intersection
- Hover over descriptions added to various field headings in Workbench and Reporting
