I'm getting many instances of the following in my Spectrum log:

00:45:42.112 [JavaProcess] INFO  c.p.s.p.s.r.core.process.JavaProcess - <REMOTE> [Spatial] - [pool-1-thread-3] WARN  c.m.m.s.m.MapBasicStyleConvertor - Extra ILineRenditions omitted.  MapBasic supports only one pen.

Anyone know what is causing this error message? If it's truly an error, how do we tell which table it is?

    Thanks,

    Hi Steve,

I have also seen that same warning (Spectrum v23.1), I don't think it's a showstopper but I could be wrong.

If you have IIS sitting between you and Spectrum you could try cross referencing the IIS logs to these entries which might give you more info about the request that triggered the warning. I don't know if Spectrum DEBUG level logs will help but that is another option to look at.

It sounds to me like there is some kind of corruption in a style string, but I'm not sure where the style is coming from??

    • Embedded MapInfo style
    • SQL MI_STYLE column
    • SQL MapInfo.MapCatalog symbol
    • Spectrum NamedLayer (theme or override)
    • other??

I'd be interested to know if you find the Extra ILineRenditions as I would like to clean up my logs even if it's not causing major issues.
