    Syncsort Capacity Management v12.20

    Announcement
    Precisely announces the release of Syncsort Capacity Management v12.20. 
    This release can be upgraded from Syncsort Capacity Management v12.00 and v12.10, but still requires an uninstall and reinstall from all previous versions.  Precisely strongly encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to this latest release.
    Syncsort Capacity Management continues to ensure IT infrastructure resources are available to support the demands of today's business.  This new version delivers increased performance and scalability for on premise and hybrid cloud environments to handle the ever-increasing volumes of data being captured and processed for essential capacity and performance reporting, forecasting, and planning.
    The core product software and documentation are available by contacting the Precisely Support team who will be able to provide the related links. They can also provide you with information on accessing the individual Acquires as needed.

    New Features and Functionality in Syncsort Capacity Management v12.20
    Within large scale on premise or hybrid cloud environments servicing hundreds or thousands of target data sources which need to be collected and forwarded via a single Concentrator Control Center service, it is imperative that the required performance and scalability is provided to ensure any target data is processed in a timely manner into a Capacity Database.  This version introduces the following improvements:

    Improved Portal and Service View Reporting Performance
    To complete the performance improvements we started with 12.10, we have now moved all the aggregation and summarization work to the database server for the Portal reports and Service Views dashboards. This will result in reducing the network traffic and load on both the Portal and Job Scheduler, leading to significant reductions in generation time for the majority of reports.

    ServiceNow Integration
    This version now provides the ability to utilize the ServiceNow REST API to retrieve information used to mirror those in SCM Service View Dashboards. This feature will eliminate the manual process required and make it easier to map the Service Now Groups to the SCM components. This feature also lays the foundation for future integration points in the future.
