I dropped on this one.
I wonder if the problem is related to the OS some how.

Hi Peter,
there is no difference.
I have Windows 11 Pro - version 23H2.
When I had Mapinfo 12.5 there was no problem.
When I had Mapinfo 19.1 there was no problem.
The problems started with version 19.3.
At first I thought it was my computer's fault. But about a month ago I replaced my computer completely (only my previous monitor was left). I installed mapinfo 2021 and there is the same problem as before.
Regards

That's bit weird, Tomasz.
Can you try turning off the internal handling and see if that makes any difference?
What operating system are you on?
Thanks

Hi Peter,
yes, Enhanced Rendering is set to on.
In that case, what is wrong with this legend?

Hi Tomasz
Enhanced Rendering can be checked from the Map Options. Right-click on the map in the Layer List and pick Map Options.
I think it is set to on - that was the case with the workspace you shared.

Hi
my Output Preferences (sorry, I have polish version):

How can I check if I have configured to use Enhanced Rendering? Somewhere here:?

Hi
I'm also using a 4K monitor so I doubt it's related to the screen resolution.
Can you share your Output Preferences, please? All 3 tabs.
Is your map configured to use Enhanced Rendering?

Hi
I have the same export settings.
Could these errors be related to the display resolution settings or the monitor itself? I have 3840 x 2160, but after downsizing the effect is better - not good but you can see a small difference.
What else can I set in the system to solve this problem?

PS: I just tried using your table and workspace and that seems to come out right here in my MapInfo Pro v2021.1 Build 33.

Hi
How do your Output Preferences look for Exporting?
Here are my settings:

But how am I supposed to solve the problem if, in my MapInfo 2021 version, practically all the patterns do not coincide with the legend? It's not just the patterns in the first line - as you can see in the picture I attached earlier.
I am mainly involved in creating maps with natural protected areas, the discrepancy between the map and the legend is quite troublesome.
I have also noticed that this inconsistency appears on the layout when zooming in. Below is a printscreen.
It looks as if the layout even before esporetm or printing does not correspond in scale with the legend.
Perhaps there is a system setting that I should pay attention to?

Oh, you are right. I checked the screengrab.
I switched the pattern from E1 to B4 and now it looks far better.
I think the advice is to not use the pattern from the first line.
Those are different compared to the remaining patterns.

Yes, in layout everything is ok, but after exporting to PNG Pink Strip is not ok.

My legend seems to match quite well. I have copied the legend and inserted them on top of the polygons.
Let me check your styles

Hi Peter,
I exported to PNG using 400 DPI (but with others there is the same effect).
I applied the patterns: 1B, 14B, 5E, 17C, 4C
Attached is my layout.
Your export to png for "Pink Strip" also does not match the legend.
I will point out that working on mapinfo version 2019 and 2019.1 this problem did not occur with me.
Regards
Tomasz

Hi Tomasz
We may need more detail to determine why they don't match.
- How did you generate the image above? Is it just a screengrab?
- Which exact patterns have you used
I tried creating a similar setup as you in MapInfo Pro v2023
Here's how mine looks in the layout:
Here's how they look in a PNG export using 300 DPI

Hi,
I have a problem with the legend. The style of the legend does not coincide with the style of the layer. The sampling in the legend is clearly larger than the layer style.
How to solve the problem so that the legend has the same style as the layer?
I am working in mapinfo 2021.1
