How can I find a point with putting in Lat and Long as an input into the MapInfo?
I tried to do ctrl+f, but it did not quite help me with this.

    Thank you.

Check out the tool Mark the Spot in the MapInfo Marketplace.

It takes a lat/long coordinate as input and shows it on the map.

You can access the Marketplace directly from the Home tab within MapInfo Pro.

Or find the tool here: Mark the Spot

Thanks a lot, Peter. This tool serves the purpose.
The challenge that I am facing now is - I have to go to the folder where this plug in is saved and double click to populate in to the Map Info. Is there a way to add this plug in as a short cut on Map Info? So I can access it easily.

    Thank you.

    Hi

From the Tools window, you should be able to find the tool on the Registered tab. At least that's the case if you have downloaded and installed the tool from the MapInfo Marketplace from inside MapInfo Pro.

Now check the Autoload option next to the tool. This will automatically load the tool when MapInfo Pro starts.

If you can't see the tool on the Registered tab, try this.
    1. Run the tool
    2. Go to the Tools window and locate the tool in the Running tab.
    3. Right-click on the tool and select Register Tool
Note that in the image above, it says Unregister Tool. That's because I already have it registered.

In the dialog that pops up, you should be able to just click OK to get the tool registered.
Now, you can check the Autoload option on the Registered tab.
