  • 1.  Evolve webservice - SAP record locked for update

    Morning, with shared data amongst several countries I often see multiple requests (extensions) for the same SAP BP simultaneously . The first approved request / webservice complete successfully but other may fail due to SAP BP locked at the time. Is there a way that I can indicate for the webservice to wait until BP unlocked (few attempts, a few minutes apart) ?

    Below works well when webservices are in the same request / workflow. Not sure how I achieve the same for multiple "independent" requests. Appreciate your help.

    Hi Renette,

    You can try placing 'Automate Update plugin' in a loop, and check the log field if the field contains error or any special keyword like Lock etc, then loop should reschedule the job for posting else exit the loop and continue with workflow.
