Error deploying solution: invalid data source for lookup control in deployment profile

    I can connect to the SQL server and database without problems. But when I want to deploy the solution I get the error Error deploying solution: Invalid Data Source for lookup control in deployment profile. Why and how can this be fixed?

    Hi Rick,

    Please try this:

    • On solution tab on composer, scroll in the left menu where you see data-connections, expand the deployment profile.
    • select the deployment profile which is set to active, right click and select edit variants.
    • on the deployment profile window, make sure lookup17 is pointing to correct data-connection.
    • If that works fine.
    • try deleting lookup17 and add the look up again, looks like the reference to data-connection for the lookup might be corrupted.
