EnterWorks can generate exports in the JSON format using an Export Template. There is limited control over the actual JSON structure, such as the inclusion of repository names, link relationship names, presentation of multi-language values, etc. For some parent/child exports where there are many child records linked to a single parent, the Worker memory requirements may so large the export must be split into smaller parts and/or fewer workers configured with more memory allocated to each.
Microsoft SQL Server supports the generation of JSON output, which allows more direct control over the JSON structure. It also offloads the processing and memory requirements from Workers as the JSON generation is being performed by the SQL Server.
This session describes how use SQL to generate JSON exports and how to configure them from Scheduled Exports
