Field Definitions – Add/Edit Modal
Adding a field to any Asset Type is moving to a modal. The process has been updated so that the field type will be selected before the name and settings are defined. This streamlines the effort by making sure only the necessary required and optional fields are displayed.
In addition, the option to "Add and Create Another" has been added to speed in the creation of multiple fields at one time.
Relationships can be Required
Another new enhancement related to the new Add/Edit modal is the ability to make a Relationship field required. For example, some customers wanted the ability to require a new asset item be related to a Domain (Model) before it can be created. Administrators can now force a relationship to be populated before the asset item is saved.
