    Data360 Analyze - 3.16.2 release announcement

The Data360 Analyze version 3.16.2 has been released and can be downloaded from here https://data.precisely.com/software/product-details/data360-analyze/releases/3_16_2

This is a new generally available maintenance support release for version 3.16 that provides the following features/fixes. (Please note: 3.16.2 is a maintenance update intended for customers who wish to remain on version 3.16, we would encourage all other customers to consider upgrading to 3.18.0):

    Updated freemium license

The freemium license has been updated to remove the core restriction while maintaining the 2-million-row limit. This change is included with the Desktop installer. It ensures that users can fully utilize the software's capabilities without being limited by core restrictions, enhancing overall user experience and accessibility.

    Performance improvements

Performance improvements have been made to the validation of data collections during node execution. The validation process now avoids unnecessary checks on root file system paths, resulting in faster execution start times, especially in environments with complex security profiles or large numbers of data collections.

Removal of legacy Tableau SDK and vulnerable dependencies

The legacy Tableau SDK has been removed from the installation package, along with its associated dependencies, including a version of libCurl that was flagged as vulnerable. This change improves the security posture of Data360 Analyze by eliminating unused components that could introduce security risks. Users no longer need to manage or update these legacy components, streamlining maintenance and reducing potential vulnerabilities.

    Breaking change

As of 15 July 2025, Amazon no longer guarantees that the DisplayName attribute will be returned in the response from S3. As a result, the Owner field in the S3 List node output, which uses DisplayName, may not contain a value.

This change affects workflows that depend on the Owner field for identification or filtering. To maintain compatibility and prevent unexpected behavior, this issue will be addressed in the next Long-Term Support (LTS) release of Data360 Analyze.

    Third party library updates

Several third-party libraries have been updated to take advantage of any security and feature updates, including:

    ·       Java upgraded to 17.0.16.8.1

    ·       Postgres upgraded to 17.5

    ·       Tomcat upgraded to 9.0.107

    Other changes

    ·       HTTP security response headers have been updated.
