Announcement

Precisely announces the release of Assure QuickEDD V25.07.08.  This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from previous versions of Assure QuickEDD.

Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure QuickEDD. Details of this release can be found in the associated Release Notes (English | Français) document.

How to Download and Activate the Software

To download the software, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

Use Assure QuickEDD Installer to install or upgrade the software. Once the software is installed or upgraded, apply the license keys. 

Attention!  Precisely is now issuing Assure QuickEDD License Manager based license keys by default. 

How to apply License Manager based license keys for Assure QuickEDD:

How to apply old stye QSL based license keys for Assure QuickEDD:

• Use the command PMSYSCOD to apply license keys.

Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

• Assure QuickEDD is now compatible with IBM i OS 7.6.
  • See Release Notes for 7.6 support details!
• License Manager 10.0.27 is included with the following:
  • New Work with Product Authority (WRKPRDAUT) panel to manage Product Level Security (PLS) information (10.0.24).
  • The *SAVSYS special authority for the LAKEVIEW user profile will be removed during the upgrade processing of License Manager because it is not needed (10.0.24).
  • New Product Level Security (PLS) distribution capability, providing export and import functionality for managing PLS settings across multiple IBM i nodes and installations (10.0.26).
• This release includes 9 fixes.

• Any IBM i operating system running Java 11 or higher

Dependencies:

• Run the PTF Check Utility to check for all recommended IBM i PTFs.
