    Assure MIMIX 10.0.15    

    Announcement

    Precisely announces the release of Assure MIMIX 10.0.15.00. This release provides either a new install or an upgrade from all previous release levels of Assure MIMIX 10.0 and 9.0.

    Precisely encourages customers to stay current by upgrading to the latest release for Assure MIMIX.  Details of the fixes and new features contained within this release can be found in the associated Release Notes.

    How to Download and Activate the Assure MIMIX Software

    To access the software and license tools, you must have a Precisely (Customer or Partner) Community account established and have license entitlement.

    Run the Install Wizard on a Windows PC to install the software and apply license keys.  Other options to install and apply license keys are documented in the License Manager for IBM i Products manual.

    *Note:  Assure iOptimize files are available in the Assure MIMIX download folders.  Assure MIMIX 10.0.15 download folder contains the latest iOptimize files.

    Summary of Feature Additions or Changes

    ·         LPAR Activation (License keys) enhancements:

    o   Assure MIMIX will auto-apply the License Key Package (LKP) from a specific location when an existing license key check failure occurs.  This will improve Live Partition Mobility scenarios and make key management easier for service providers.

    o   LPARs that are activated with license keys specific to the LPAR that move across to unknown physical serial numbers will stay active for a 7-day grace period.  Notifications will alert the user to obtain a new key.

    ·         There are 18 fixes in this release.

    ·         Assure MIMIX product documentation is now available in the Precisely Help Center. The Help Center provides a modern experience to help you quickly locate content, personalize your experience, and provide feedback.

    ·         Reminder:   As of Assure MIMIX 10.0.13.00, Product-Level Security (PLS) is now required to be enabled for License Manager (LAKEVIEW library) and Assure MIMIX (all installation libraries).

    o   See the Product Level Security changes for License Manager and MIMIX for details.
