    Data360 Analyze 3.12.0 New Release

The Data360 Analyze 3.12.0 release will be available on Friday April 21, 2023.

Customers can download Data360 Analyze 3.12.0 from the Precisely Data Experience Platform.

This is a new Generally Available Long-Term Support (LTS) release that provides the following features/fixes.

    Save ad-hoc Run States

    • This is a new collaboration feature that will allow users to save their ad-hoc runs of Data Flows into the Directory and share the results with other Analyze users. Users can also use multiple ad-hoc runs of a single dataflow within the system for comparison reasons.

    Execution Data Sandboxing

    • Execution sandboxing was introduced in Analyze version 3.10.0. However, there was a limitation when using this feature on the Windows Platform where all Analyze components must be installed on C drive otherwise the system will not function correctly. This was not an ideal way for a customer to deploy the application this way and the current release allows Users to deploy the components of Analyze onto any chosen drive location and be able to use execution Sandboxing on a Windows Server Install.

Management of Analyze System Passwords via Azure Key Vault

    • Currently, the password to the database is stored in clear text which was not a secure way of managing the password. The new security vault feature allows users to connect their Analyze instance to an Azure Key Vault to safely store and retrieve the Analyze database password. This helps in data protection and compliance by encrypting keys and passwords.

    New Code Editor

    • The new code editor will allow the user to write better Python scripts when editing code or script on nodes. With Search, find, and replace and other usability features included, this will help users to write the script more efficiently.
