    For example: For a "report" asset, in addition to the Date Created and Date Last modified, Future Fund requires those dates to be reported under another category, called “report lifecycle” with the fields "Report Creation Date" and "Report Modification Date", reporting on the same dates as the system fields mentioned above.

    Hi Joel,

    The fields you mention can be added to an Asset through the use of the "category" field : 

    Notice the "Report Creation Date" and "Report Modification Date" fields. Once in place, this will be reflected within your Asset : 

    To populate these fields the team will be able to utilize bulk load / API to input values into the two fields. I recommend NOT copying the "Date Last Modified" value as the "Report Modification Date" since the date last modified is when the Asset was last modified ( may not necessary be in synch with when the report was last modified ).

    As per Joel initial post, the requirement is to carry those system dates across to different fields as they are.

    As you noted in your own recommendation, we cannot copy the date last modified across in a bulk load / API call as it will override the date modified. I have reviewed our options with both <x-zendesk-user data-user-name="Sven Roepke">365242248587</x-zendesk-user> and <x-zendesk-user data-user-name="Stephen Linsley">365242270127</x-zendesk-user> and we came to the conclusion we don’t have an elegant way to address the requirements expressed by Future Fund with what is available to us, hence the enhancement request. Thank you for confirming the reference for the enhancement request.
