  • 1.  Infogix Automatic User entry into user table during initial logging

    Posted 02-21-2022 11:03

    Hi,

Currently Infogix will automatically add a user into the user table when they request login and access. Although the person might not have access to the page or to the cases, they are automatically added to the user table. Is there a way for the system not to automatically add them to the user table? The Admin should be in charge of manually adding the user to the user table if they should have access to the system.

    Hi David,

If using DQ+ managed authentication : Users are added to the user list if they request registration, however they are not granted access to anything until an "admin" confirms their account. Are you looking for users to not show entirely, preventing the self-registration process?

In the current setup, new users would not have access to log into / view anything until an admin acts on the request.

If utilizing SSO : Under the user page's settings, having the automatic claim option disabled ( setting shown below ) prevents new users within your LDAP from receiving basic read access upon first login. Having this disabled will require an "admin" to confirm their account / grant access.

Yes, I do not want the users to show up in the user table unless the Admin has added them manually. Is there a way to stop this self-registration process?

    Hi David,

What you describe is not a current feature, though I have opened up an enhancement request on your behalf for product management review ( Reference : IS-10766 )
