  • 1.  2 Variable Thematics

    HI,

    I have a point map with 2 variables thematically styled.  One by colour and one by shape.  If I use the filter options for the shape theme in the 'layer control' in the explorer window to turn off some of the points it doesn't remove them from the map it just resorts to a different default shape because of the other themed layer.  Anyone know a way around this?

    What happens if you filter both thematic layers, or filter the base layer?

    Peter,

    If you add a query filter to the base table it works OK.  Turning off both theme variables that apply to the same point still leaves the point on the map though :(

    The nice thing about the option is the ability to turn things on/off with out having to understand how to do an SQL.
