I looked up the Tech Support case. I can see we got some Fiddler files from your vendor.
Unfortunately, the Fiddler data only shows the initial request for the capabilities and no requests for tiles afterwards. This could be because these are sent through HTTPS.
Would you or your vendor be able to try this again and make sure HTTPS has been enabled in Fiddler?
It does seem that any v1.0.1 changes to the WMTS schemas are pretty old, so I wonder what these changes may have been and why we can't handle that request.

I haven't come across WMTS 1.0.1.
There is no implementation standard for this version, either, according to OGC.
Can you ask the vendor if they can use the latest published standard, 1.0.0?
I can find some schemas for v1.0.1, but I can't tell the difference between the two versions.

We're working with a vendor that is providing imagery, and it wasn't returning any data. I had the vendor contact customer support and it came up that they were running 1.0.1.
