    Hello Automate Community!

For this week's tip, we're gonna look at changing the reporting widgets on the home page in Automate Evolve. For those of you who may not be familiar with Evolve, it is our process automation solution that empowers you to simplify and improve your various business processes such as customer and vendor onboarding, G/L Setup, and more.

With Evolve, you can automate your entire process from the collection of the data all the way through approvals to posting the data into SAP, and it orchestrates the work that is needed for each of these requests, while notifying you and your teams when there is work that needs to be completed through emails or alerts.

When you log into the Evolve homepage, there are two sections/widgets that can show reports. Frequently viewed reports as per the business requirement can be pinned to the dashboard by administrators, or end-users.

Evolve includes several default reports that can be used by you and your administrators to get information on active users, licenses, processes, usage, and audit. Some commonly used default reports include Active Users Report, License Count, License Detail, Audit Report, Process Count by Month, etc. Custom reports can also be created by the Reports administrator and then shared with your users. For more information on this, please review this link - Evolve Reports

You can pin published and graph-based reports to the top and bottom widgets. To do this, from the Administrative or User Apps, navigate to Administration App/User App>Menu>Reports

Locate the report you would like to add to the dashboard, click the select button and under Actions, you can then select either the top or bottom widget. To do this, click Pin To Top Widget or Pin To Bottom Widget based on your preference.

You will then select your Display Type. Choose between a Pie Chart, Donut Chart, Bar Chart, or Line Chart. Click Save.

Note: If the report has two aggregate columns, only the Bar Chart and the Line Chart can be selected.

If you go back to your Home Page, you will see the change.

If you want to change the Display Type of a pinned report, you must first unpin it. Then make the change to the Display Type and re-pin the report to the widget. To unpin a widget, under Actions for the report, it will show as Unpin from Top widget or Unpin From Bottom Widget.

One additional note – You can have more than one report pinned to the homepage (both top and bottom). If you have selected more than one, the widgets on the homepage show the pinned reports in a selectable drop-down.

I hope you find this helpful. Happy Holidays everyone!
