    Hi Automate Community!

I have a quick tip on how you can see what the data was in SAP prior to uploading changes through Transaction. Please note, this functionality applies to change transaction codes only. Simply check "Backup Data" in the Run tab in Studio or in the Studio Excel add-in. This screenshot shows my data in Sheet1 that I uploaded, where I changed the MRP controller to MS1:

This screenshot shows the backup sheet that was created when I clicked Run, which has the values from SAP prior to changing the MRP controller to MS1 (previous value for MRP controller was MS2):

When "Backup Data" is checked, you will see a new backup sheet created every time you run the script.

    Thanks!

    Thanks, Maria.

It's handy feature to make a copy of the data prior to updating something if you want to:

    • you want to back out the changes you made
    • have an audit trail of what the values where and what was run to update it.

    Best Regards,

    Sigrid
