Spectrum Global Geocoding Module – Java 17, Geocoding Data Changes
To support Java JDK 17 in the Spectrum 24.1 release, Precisely will make updates to the Global Geocoding and Address
Autocomplete SPD data bundles. These changes will not impact U.S. SPD data bundles.

Timeline for Changes to Global Geocoding SPD Data Bundles:
December 10, 202
- Spectrum 24.1 is scheduled for release.
- A new format of Global Geocoding and Address Autocomplete SPD data bundles will be available, supporting Java JDK 17.
- Customers using Spectrum 24.1 must download the new format from the Precisely Data Experience. This release is part of the 2024.09 data vintage and will be labeled "Geo Addressing Reference Data."
- Customers using Spectrum 23.1 or older: no changes are required. However, customers can migrate to the new data format if needed.
December 31, 2024
- Precisely will release the 2024.12 vintage Global Geocoding and Address Autocomplete data bundles.
- Spectrum 24.1 customers can update to the 2024.12 vintage data by selecting the "Geo Addressing Reference Data" option from the Precisely Data Experience.
- Spectrum 23.1 and Spectrum 22.1 customers using the 2024.12 vintage data bundles can choose either the new "Geo Addressing Reference Data" format or continue with "Spectrum Platform Data" format.
- Older Spectrum versions using the 2024.12 vintage data bundles can continue using the existing "Spectrum Platform Data" format.
