Hi Sigrid,
Sorry for the delay here. I was OoO taking some PTO.
I was not al that familiar with using Precisely with SAP RFMs, and was using a "Recording from SAP" script, not using the "Direct" script, for Function Modes. Once I saw you note and the reference to the Workspace tab, I knew I was not using the right process. After some review, I was able to determine you were using the "Direct" method.
Once I reviewed that, I was able to get the transaction working.
Thanks for your help here.
Gerry

Subject: RE: Script to execute SAP Function Module
Hi Gerard,
Am not at all familiar with this FM. Can you please share the script and template (scrub data as needed)? In general it will only populate fields if they are uploaded and have values. You may or may not need a commit - a checkbox on the Workspace tab.
And if this BAPI is actually part of a Transaction - which I think you are sharing but am not sure - that may not work. Can you provide screenshots of what it should be doing?
Best Regards,
Sigrid

Subject: Script to execute SAP Function Module
Hi all,
I am trying to record a script to execute SAP Function Module "ARCHIV_CREATE_SYNCHRON_META"
I can record the script, and the FM executes correctly during the recording, because I see the desired outcome occurs afterward.
Te issue is after the recording finishes, the data for the import parameters is not pulled into the transaction mapping. The only data pulled in is the FM Name, none of the import parameters required to run the FM are pulled into the MAP.
Is it possible to record a script to run a FM and populate the import parameters.
Thx,
Gerry Dominy
