Hi Lisa.
Thanks for highlighting Microsoft's withdrawal of Wordpad.
Wordpad use is documented in the Designer User Guide and Inline help under the section ;
"
Importing paragraph content
..
Text in RTF format may be slightly different depending on which application it was created with. Should you experience inconsistencies, open the RTF file in Windows WordPad and save it (as an RTF file). You can then import from this file.
"
Microsoft's Wordpad removal takes effect in Windows 11 version 24H2 and Windows Server 2025 , both released in Q4 2024.
WordPad remains available for use within other supported Windows versions , until the end of support for these Windows versions.
Precisely does not recommend any specific replacement , but EngageOne Designer will accept RTF for Design paragraph import, created from any Editor that creates RTF that conforms to the RTF standard.
If you would prefer to continue to use WordPad, and haven't yet upgraded to Windows 11 version 24H2 , there are a number of "how to" online articles to backup / restore WordPad for continued use in later Windows versions , but will of course not receive any future updates.
Windows 11 24H2 deletes WordPad, but you can bring it back

Subject: RTF Support
Hello,
The documentation recommends wordpad for rtf editing. Microsoft will be sunsetting that product and not offering support. Is there a new tool that can be used and it compatible with EngageOne Designer as a replacement?
Thanks,
Lisa
