  • 1.  PA30 Planning Data Qualifications: Search and Qualification Selection Missing from Automate Studio Script

    I am working on a PA30 Planning Data Qualifications script in Precisely Automate Studio. I have created recordings in both Standard and Batch modes. The script runs successfully until the point where I press the Create button and the Restrict Value Range window appears.

    At that point, the script does not input the qualification/class code 210 into the Search Term field. If I manually enter 210, the script proceeds to the next screen and displays the available qualification code, but it will not select the row containing the code.

    I have attached both the Standard and Batch mode scripts for review, along with a screenshot of the popup window. I also currently have a working SAP GUI script that performs this process.

    The business has requested a fully automated, round-trip solution that removes the user from the process, allowing qualifications to be added and maintained without manual intervention. This would free up the user for other work and eliminate dependency on a specific individual when they are out of the office.

    Can you please review the attached scripts and advise how to handle the qualification search and row selection within the popup window?

    Hi Benjamin

    Thank you for reaching out. I have checked the script and can see that no input field is mapped to the class code. Is that screen a Grid?

    A possible reason for the error is that the location where you are finding the value is a Grid, and the script is not recording the screen.

    I have created a support ticket on your behalf so that we can have interactive session to check the steps at your end.
