File and Schema Changes to Your Address and Property Products in 2022 Q2 - Final Notice
Abstract
This notice is to inform you of file and schema changes coming in your licensed products. You are receiving this communication because you subscribe to one or more of the following Precisely Address and Property Products:
- Address Fabric
- Buildings US
- Parcel Boundaries
- Property Attributes Assessment
- Property Historical Sales
Included in this communication are the final product changes scheduled for the May and June 2022 release of the above products.
Overview of Features and Functionality
As part of Precisely's ongoing data interoperability initiatives; we will be making the following directory structure, field name, and attribute enhancements for the June 2022 releases of US Address Fabric, Buildings, Parcels Boundaries, Property Attributes Assessment, Property Historical Sales, and May 2022 release of Canada Address Fabric. This is the final notice announcing these changes. Previous notifications regarding these changes were sent in December 2021 and March 2022.

here to view the file directory and name changes for each product. Specific changes for each product are detailed in a separate tab. Please review the new data schema linked below for each product to prepare appropriately for the coming changes.
Below is a summary of attribute and field changes that will be made for the June and August 2022 Product Releases.
- Address Fabric
- Address Fabric Canada - A field will be added to support multiple official languages
- US and Canada - The [TYPE] field will be renamed to [LOC_CODE] for location precision code of the latitude/longitude coordinate
- Address Fabric Change Log file – Two new fields will be added to the change log file:
- CHG_CODE varchar(70) – This is the reason code provided to explain the change
- PBKEY_ALT varchar(12) – This field will provide the new PreciselyID (PBKEY) assigned in the case of identified address consolidations or duplicates.
- Addition of new file in data folder called address_fabric_low_conf_xxx.txt for low confident addresses. This data will be available as a separate file located in the data delivery package.

- Buildings USA
- The Buildings USA product will be renamed to "Buildings"
- The [PROP_APN] field will be removed from the Buildings product. The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) is associated with the plot of land and not a building feature. The Assessor's Parcel Number can be found within our Parcel Boundaries and Property Attribute Assessment products.
- The [FIPs] field will be added to the Buildings Address Table
- The following fields will be renamed to standardize to the naming convention in other Enrich Data Products
- [PAR_PBKEY] will be renamed to [PARENT]
- [Longitude] will be renamed to [LON]
- [Latitude] will be renamed to [LAT]

- Renaming TAX_APN field to PARCEL_APN (object table)
- Renaming PROP_APN field to TAX_APN (address table)
- The Tax Account Number, an arbitrary number assigned by the assessing agency for tax purposes, will be added to the Address table
- [PAR_PBKEY] will be renamed to [PARENT] to be consistent with the field name for the Parent PreciselyID in other Enrich Data products
- A new ID field called [PLINKID] will be added to the Parcel Address table which will provide streamlined linkage to our Property Attributes products

- Property Attributes Assessment
- The following additional ownership field information will be added to the product:
- New ID Fields for Owner 1 and Owner 2 – This will be a unique identifier for the landowner(s). These fields may be sorted to understand how many properties are under ownership of one individual or business.
- Full concatenated fields for Owner 1 and Owner 2 names. The Owner name fields will also include the "DBA" name for businesses when available.
- FIPS and Census ID changes
- The FIPs Code field will be renamed from [FIPSCD] to [FIPS]
- The GEOID which contains the state and county FIPs code plus the full Census ID will be field will be added to replace the Census Tract Field [PROP_CENSUSTRACT]
- A new ID field called [PLINKID] will be added to provide streamlined linkage to our Parcel Boundaries dataset
- The following fields will be deprecated from the product
- PID – This is a legacy ID that was used to link to the Precisely Parcel Boundaries product. These two products can now be linked via the PLINKID. There has been a focus over the 2021 calendar year to ensure a high match rate between these two products
- BUSNAME field - Business names are included in the owner name fields as applicable
- PROP_CENSUSTRACT – Will be replaced by the new GEOID field

- Property Attributes Assessment data schema
- Property Attributes Mortgage
- The FIPS code field will be renamed from [STCTY_FIPS] to [FIPS]
- The GEOID which contains the state and county FIPs code plus the full Census ID will be field will be added to replace the Census Tract Field [PROP_CENSUSTRACT]
- Field length changes, see product Getting Started Guide for instructions on how to load the data
- Property Attributes Mortgage data schema
- Property Historical Sales
- The following new IDs will be added to the product
- A new unique and persistent ID [HPAID] for a historical record
- LINKID field will be renamed to PAID that will provide streamlined linkage to our Property Assessment product
- The [PLINKID] will be added to provide streamlined linkage to our Parcel Boundaries dataset
- The FIPS code field will be renamed from [STCTY_FIPS] to [FIPS]
- The APN field will be rename from [APN_PIN ] to [PROP_APN]
