  • 1.  Location of MapInfo python package

    Hi,

    In a lot of the python samples provided with MapBasic there is a module called MapInfo referenced:

    This module seems to have a lot of the functions and objects used to interface with MapInfo from Python addins.

    Where can I find documentation on the functionality offered by this module or failing that, the location of the module itself in the installation so I can investigate its source?

    Hi Romano

    Check out the MapInfo Extensibility Reference.

    You can access it from the Help dropdown in the SQL Window

    You can also run it via the ExtensibilityReferenceHelp.exe file in the Documentation folder in the installation folder for MapInfo Pro
