Is it possible to import a JSON file into some landing/pre-staging repository, and do some transformation so the data can then be loaded into Staging repository as per the data model?

JSON can be imported into one or more EnterWorks repositories using the Exchange Template.  This template requires the JSON to be in a very specific format.  Instead of having JSON keys for attributes, the keys are one or two-characters in length and define key/value pairs (or the specific language when handling multi-language data.

A quick way to see the format is to define an Exchange template and then use it to export some data (Exchange templates can be used for both imports and exports).
