  • 1.  EPSG:7845 GDA2020 / GA LCC (Lambert Conformal Conic) for MapInfo Pro Version 15.0.2 - 32 bit

Hi All, I need to add EPSG:7845 GDA2020 / GA LCC (Lambert Conformal Conic) projection into MapInfo Pro Version 15.0.2 - 32 bit  (already added to my 64 bit using Projection Editor).

I could not seems to succeed adding it to our 32-bit MapInfo version, which we mainly using for big digitizing jobs (as it is faster and not as clumsier as 64-bit).

    Something along the lines:

    "Australian Lamberts Conformal Conic (GDA94)", 3, 116, 7, 135, -24, -18, -36, 0, 0
    "Australian Lamberts Conformal Conic (GDA2020)", 3, 9999, 7, 134, 0, -18, -36, 0, 0  (?????)

Any help will be much appreciated,

    Regards

    Teddy

    G'day Teddy,

Try 1028 in place of 9999.  Looking at other entries in MAPINFOW.PRJ, 1028 seems to be the datum number for GDA2020.  I couldn't find this information in the Mapinfo help file, which is a bit mystifying.

Funnily enough this issue came up for me only yesterday...

The 1028 only used for 64- bit, already tried, but not sure if the rest of the parameters ate correct.
When I did try the 1028, MapInfo came with the message incorrect Datum or something along the line, I also found some notes that were saying transformations with this projection only work with Map Info 16 and above.
My Map Info 64- bit is fine - I've used Projection Editor and created it, but it is the MapInfo 32- bit version 15.0.2 that I would like to be able to add successfully.
    Cheers
