A recent (and unannounced or explained) change to how file are designated in my Dropbox account has ruined all of my many saved workspaces.  Other than editing the files with a text editor is there another option?  Thanks.

Have the file paths changed or what has happened, Rex?

Yes - arbitrarily went from every online link starting with "DROPBOX (Company)" and changed to "Company DROPBOX".  Guess I could move files to local computer and recreate folder structure.  Thanks

    Hello Rex,

I always prefer to create workspace files with relative, rather than absolute, path names. This make them easily transportable, which is a must if you're publishing data to others, or want to be resilient to someone changing the company Dropbox name. To do this make sure all your TAB files are in the same folder as, or in sub-folders of, your WOR file. Yes, it's not always practical, but with a bit of planning you can reduce the number of headaches in the future!

    Hello Rex,

You can use a more advanced text editor, such as the free/excellent Notepad++, to do a search and replace of paths across multiple workspace files. It's always a dangerous thing to do, so always keep a copy of your original files.
