What's new in this release:
Search screen enhancement - improved search flexibility:
Searching is now more intuitive with new filtering options. Users can take advantage of new filtering options with "is not" and "does not contain" operators in text filter fields, providing greater flexibility and precision in data searches.
Dynamic width for search screen filters
Data store and case store search screen filters have been enhanced to improve usability. Drop-down choice filters now dynamically adjust their width to display the full value of code sets where possible. Additionally, tooltips are provided to show the full value when the filter field control is limited in width. The dynamic width adapts based on available screen real estate, ensuring a better user experience while maintaining a clean interface.
Dashboard designer improvement - enhanced dashboard design:
Designing dashboards is now easier with pixel sizes displayed as you resize dashlets. Users can quickly set equal sizes for multiple dashlets, ensuring a polished and professional look.
Filter dashlet auto-fill capability - upgraded drop down filters:
The 'Drop Down' filter dashlet now supports pagination and allows users to type to filter entries, eliminating the previous 200-entry limit and enhancing search capabilities.
Inline edit or mass edit enhancement - required fields for edits:
Users can define required fields on the search screen's result field list for inline or mass edits. This ensures data consistency by always checking these fields during mass edits. Previously, this functionality was only available for edit screen definitions.
Execution Profile for Data Stores - customizable data profiling:
The new Execution Profile tab on the data store screen lets users configure execution sizing for data profiling, offering a more tailored and efficient profiling process.
Support for latest date filters - powerful date filtering:
Users can now use the latest date filter when editing a dashlet's static filter, making it easier to focus on the most recent data.
Show as list feature - pipeline tree list view:
A new "Show as List" option allows users to view pipeline items in a table format, filter them, and download the data as a CSV file for further analysis. Enhanced filters in the Export Definitions dialog further streamline this process.
OIDC SSO support:
Single-tenant environments will now support OIDC SSO. It refers to the integration of OpenID Connect (OIDC) with Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities. When OIDC is combined with SSO, it simplifies the authentication process by enabling users to use one set of login credentials to access multiple applications. This enhances the user experience and improves security by reducing the need for multiple usernames and passwords.
