  • 1.  Create Job Log - System Does Not Have Permission to Create

    We have a scheduled export and import to create items in another repository but have been experiencing an error that states..."System does not have permission to create this record in this repository".

    The primary keys needed to create the record are present in the import and they are not duplicated or do not already exist in the repository they are trying to be created in. Everytime we experience this error and the records are untouched, it may be a day or two until the system does create the records without any intervention from us. I am not sure why some days the job does not have permission to create and some days it will create records with no issues. 

    Same logs attached for examples, product_staging is correct in creating the correct records, and we have had no issues with this repository, it is only Item_staging that has this issue.

    This is a known Product issue (Jira ticket EW-8796).  Additional logging has been added to capture more details when this error occurs in the 10.4.6 and 10.5 (and newer) versions.  Once you have a newer version of EnterWorks running and if you encounter this error, then the job and worker logs should contain more helpful information for identifying the underlying cause, leading to a resolution.
