Changes to PSYTE HD Canada product commencing Q1 2025
Abstract
Precisely announces version 3.0.0 of PSYTE Canada.
This announcement is to inform customers of changes to the upcoming release of PSYTE HD Canada. Notification of upcoming change was made in the Q1 2024 product Release Notes.
Overview of Features and Functionality
PSYTE HD Canada has been rebuilt using the latest demographic and location context data. The updated product segments Canadian Dissemination Areas (DAs) into 9 groups and 48 categories. New names have been created to describe each of the segments. A new group and category naming convention has also been introduced e.g.:
- Modern Luxury
- Flourishing Families
In addition to the new segments, PSTYE HD Canada includes a set of “Drill-Down” variables. Drill-Down variables further categorize DAs across several, stand-alone demographic and socio-economic themes using a set of qualitative labels.
These labels contextualize the relative scoring of characteristics across household income, property value, property type, tenure, urbanity, and language:
