Notice on Connect CDC Support Lifecycle Changes

Abstract
Precisely is announcing a change to its product support lifecycle. This change impacts all users of all versions of Connect CDC.
Overview of Changes
Precisely is instituting a new support policy that establishes a definitive two-year timeline of support for all major (i.e. version 6) and minor (i.e. version 6.x) releases of Connect CDC. Fix releases (i.e. 6.1.x) will be considered part of a minor release. Starting with Connect CDC version 6.0, Precisely intends to provide full support for all releases for two years, starting with their release date. As such, versions of Connect CDC older than two years will be deemed Out of Support. While Precisely will provide recommendations, workarounds, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting tips, users will need to upgrade to supported versions in order to receive software updates, fixes, and patches. Updates will not be delivered for versions of Connect CDC more than two years old.
As this represents the first announcement of this policy, Customers running supported versions of Connect CDC more than two years old will have two years from the release date of Connect CDC version 6.0 to migrate to a supported version.
